Readmemo is a reading notebook made by AU GUIDE PTY LTD (ABN 91 679 287 337), Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Readmemo website (www.readmemo.app) and the Readmemo iOS app, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address, or the identifier Apple gives us when you use Sign in with Apple. We use it only to sign you in and to keep your notes together.
• Your library and notes. The books you put on your shelf, your reading status, chapters you add, and the notes you write or dictate. These are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) so they appear on every device you sign in on.
• Voice audio. When you record a voice note, the audio is streamed in real time to the Gemini API, operated by Google LLC in the United States, for speech-to-text. We ask for your permission inside the app before any audio is sent, and the app tells you what is sent and who receives it at that moment. Only the audio you record is sent — not your name, email address or saved notes. Google processes it solely to return the transcript, does not use it to train its models, and discards it after processing; Google is bound by the Google Cloud / Gemini API terms and data processing addendum, which require protections equivalent to those described in this policy. We do not store the audio. The transcript becomes your note. If you decline, recording is disabled and you can type your notes instead; you can change your answer at any time in Settings → AI transcription.
• Voice minutes and purchases. How many voice minutes you have used and bought. Purchases are processed by Apple; RevenueCat validates the receipt and tells us which pack you bought. We never see your payment details.
• Guest mode. If you use the app without an account, your shelf and notes stay on your phone only. We create an anonymous session so voice recognition can work; it holds no personal details.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we use no advertising or analytics SDKs.
• We do not sell or share your notes with anyone. They are private to your account.
• We do not use your notes or audio to train any AI model.

Service providers

Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting), Google Gemini API (speech-to-text), Apple and RevenueCat (in-app purchases). Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.

Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Delete account. On the website: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, shelf, notes and voice-minute balance. You can also email us at info@auguide.com.au and we will delete it for you.

Your rights and contact

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to info@auguide.com.au. We keep data only for as long as your account exists. We may update this policy; the date at the top tells you when.
